Thought Of The Moment

Where you need to think I don’t. Where you need to reason, I don’t. The reason is very simple, my heart thinks on its own, in a way that, not to parallel what others have said, but merely to state a truth, the heart thinks in ways that the brain can’t but it produces better or same results.

When I attack reason, or the ability to think I am not attacking because it is bad I am attacking it because it is not a primary cause. Insolent as that might sound, for you and I know that a primary cause might not be able to study itself hence the mind. So you have this mind to study the primary cause, only study gives you something else, not the thing itself but an approximation of some of its characteristics. However it is doubtful that these characteristics are central to the theme because the thing studying the thing is a product of the thing it is studying. The inward looking element distorts all possible realities infinitely.

When I attack thought I am not attacking it because I am killing a portion of myself, I am not thought, thought is a part of me which I have developed but in no way is it going to kill me to eliminate thought because thought is not endemic to me even as thought needs me to exist for the very simple reason that I created it, but that creation was in no way mandatory nor equally and vitally a benefit to me. One can create things that are not good for the self or for the humanity. The complicated intermesh of intersecting desires mandates that motors that churned out grievances and merely add disturbance to any system or entity are the norm. One could easily argue that the human race is merely a process of self correction gone bad. Thought, certainly hints more at the err of our ways rather than at the benefit we process for the universe and our community.

See it is that simple, thought doesn’t need to exist, for me it is doubtful that cats don’t think, they think a little bit I am sure of it, but largely they live their lives out with what appears to be a failed attempt at thinking something through. Which is why they can stare indefinitely at dripping water from a faucet and each time they seem to be beginning the process of what is this and why does it hit my cat head when I go to grab it with my jaw and paws. It is to me quite possible to imagine that cats are stuck in a moment of initial thought processing without any clue how to get to logical process and results. It is even more possible to imagine than an amoeba hasn’t given anything any thought.

You sit there and you read this and you say, is it possible that an amoeba hasn’t given anything any thought? Of course you don’t do that, you intuitively know it, you don’t even have to think it, to you and most of humanity these things do not give anything any thought, we are unique in that we think, or so we think and it is not a grand surprise that it is thought that tells us that we are thinkers and that this is unique and wonderful. In fact it is safe to say that we suspect that every other living creature doesn’t really think. Shouldn’t we critically examine the fact that at least 99 percent of living creatures appear not to think? Not necessary perhaps eh. It is possible to imagine that maybe most species have opted out on doing the gig of thought, maybe thought isn’t that happening; and you might argue “but we are the most successful species, we are killing everything else, so they can’t be that smart in opting out of thought.” But, and this is the wonderful reality, but then it is possible that by being successful at repeating and increasing life we could be being unsuccessful in another dimension of existence which might be more affordable and desirable and perhaps that is why the animals don’t bother much with resisting extinction. Of course this is an unthinkable; it might be unthinkable because maybe thought is not cherished in that other dimension.

So it is that perhaps the worst of it is simply this, that thought is a successful bad creation and that most organisms don’t bother to generate it because they fear it more than they value its benefits, which might be, in the end, none. Thought might be a deadly virus that infiltrates its host by causing it to imagine the benefits of the examined life. Regardless of how you chose to use it, thought might be a fatal disease because it rarely seems to care about its environment or the torments that thought causes its host; thought is purely self centered and absolutely selfish in its aims to control.

Finally thought can not study the essence itself that created it, self examination is impossible but self examination through a self extracted objective and self assured reasonable dominion is unlikely to yield a useful case study of the creature human or of the essence desired energy which comprises humanity and further down that rope the nothingness which is infiltrated and obviated by desired energies.

In summary there is nothing more likely not to make sense that not to think at all and that we do not need thought as much as thought needs us. Which is a lot.
